The Alliance Française de Nashville is pleased to announce that Kerrin Burk is the recipient of the 2008 Nina Walls Scholarship.  This scholarship, which is made possible by the Alliance Française Cultural & Educational Fund, Inc. enabled the recipient to attend a month-long study session this summer at the Alliance Française de Lyon, in Lyon, France, and to live with a French family there.  One of the major purposes of the Nina Walls Scholarship is to give Middle Tennessee French teachers the opportunity to absorb French culture while improving their fluency in the language.

Audrey Russell and Dan Johnson are the recipients of the 2007 Nina Walls Scholarships.  Audrey Russell has been teaching French for nine years at Antioch High School in Nashville.  Dan Johnson has taught French for two years at Gallatin High School in Gallatin, Tennessee.
