Start to learn French, improve your language skills, or prepare for a trip to a French speaking country.  The Alliance Française de Nashville offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced level classes at its convenient Green Hills location.

French Classes

When:   The winter session begins January 5th, 2015.  Fall, Winter, and Spring ten-week sessions should be taken in sequence.  Classes will meet on the same day or evening each semester.

French for Beginners: Monday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. January 5th through March 16th .  Winter and Spring 2015 sessions will be a continuation of material covered in the Fall 2014 session. Beginners are advised to start in the Fall.

French for Advanced Beginners: Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  January 7th through March 18th.  This class is for students with some previous French, not for absolute beginners.

Intermediate French: Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  January 8th through March 19th. This class, conducted mainly in French, is for students who have a basic knowledge of the French language.

Advanced Conversation and Grammar: Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. January 6th through March 17th.  This class, conducted only in French, provides a wonderful opportunity for area francophones and advanced students to get together to share an evening of conversation, with a review of French grammar when needed.
